Jenaya is the Program Director of Mommy Connections West Edmonton!

Born and raised in Edmonton, she is a graduate of the University of Alberta, with a BA in Psychology and also completed the Travel Program at Grant MacEwan University.  Life prior to kids brought much travel including backpacking in Australia, teaching English in Taiwan and getting married to the love of her life on a beach in Costa Rica. Her most recent position was working as a travel agent with locally owned and operated Paull Travel.

Now a busy Mom with two children (age 21 months and 3), she knows how overwhelming, exciting and terrifying motherhood can be. With the birth of her first child , Jenaya had many questions and worries that required answers. With no experience to draw on, the opportunity for social networking and gathering advice from experts of various fields that a mother’s group offers was the perfect solution.  She was able to learn from other mothers and gain knowledge in areas such as introducing solids,  baby dental care, post natal fitness and many more.  Even as a second-time mom she once again was excited about the opportunity to meet regularly with other mothers, to educate themselves about motherhood and learn about great programs and opportunities available to Moms.  Jenaya decided to attend Mommy Connections in their first ever program in Edmonton. This is of course where she met the Founder and President, Carol.

Being able to come together as a community and share experiences with other Moms that know what you’re going through is invaluable.  Jenaya is enjoying being part of the West Edmonton program with hopes of continuing to provide a venue for other moms to come together, establish new friendships and support one another.
