Hi! My name is Kimberly Stanford and I am so excited to be bringing Mommy Connections to the Middle TN area. I am now a WAHMommy to a bright, mischievous, wonderful little girl named Lilly. I have an amazingly supportive husband named Butch whom I have been married to for almost 7 years now. We also have a fur-baby who is a Yorkie named Wyllie (or Bubba as Lilly calls him).

Before being a SAHM, I was in the mortgage industry. And even though I worked 100 hour weeks and many a time would come home grab a shower and a bite to eat then go right back to work, I can honestly say that being a Mommy is the hardest job I have ever had. I am on 24 hours a day, and I don’t know about you, but my little baby didn’t come with an instruction manual.  

Now I’m not going to claim that our programs are going to tell you everything there is to know about birthing and raising your babies. What I am hoping to do here in Middle TN (starting in Rutherford County and then starting a location in Franklin and then Nashville!), is provide a place for Mommy to connect to other Mommies who have babe’s around her little one’s age. To provide expert speakers on topics that are current and that really interest you vs old out dated information that you have to pinch yourself to stay awake for.

And the whole reason I am doing this? Well it’s a one word answer. Lilly. My little girl is already 3, even though most days I swear I just had her yesterday! She will be ready for school in a couple of years, and I still want to be here for her everyday when she is not in school. If we send her to school. The great debate at our home is public/private school or home school. Well we have 2 more years to figure that out right? But either way, I get to be here for her and at the same time do something I am already so passionate about. Connecting moms with other moms.
