The Boss of All Bean Bags
I was really intrigued when I received an email from a company with the name Boss in it – as a Bossy Mama myself, I couldn’t wait to learn more! As it turns out, Bean Bag Boss is a company that sells really cool bean bag chairs and they are based out of Montreal. They have a really unique and fresh marketing message delivered by ‘The Boss’ himself and his right hand ‘Lefty.’ They discovered bean bag comfort in 1983 and have been delivering cozy, comfy, casual seating every since!
These definitely aren’t the small round bags of the past – they are a HUGE 4.5’ x 5’ square shaped bags
(11 cubic feet total!) that can be formed into a variety of different comfy seating options and they come in tons of funky color designs including solids, patterns, plaids, faux leather, lame and even new limited edition styles. We have an in home theatre with the traditional oversize black leather seating, so I thought we could use some color and chose a multi-coloured pattern.
They are also super easy to form into whatever type of seating you want and they even offer ‘how to’ video’s on their website. Some of their recommended positions include Flat, Arm Chair, Tear Drop, Horsey and Laid back and each position was super easy to create due to the lightweight foam bead stuffing.
Since we are using ours in our basement, it has been used for an afternoon nap (laid flat on the floor) a gaming chair, a laid back moving watching chair, a foot stool and simply extra seating during football watching. I always remember the old style of bean bag chairs being really too small for an adult to use comfortably, (especially my 6’4” husband!) but the Bean Bag Boss chairs easily fit an adult, or even a few kids!
They are versatile, comfortable, can add color to any room and will certainly be fought over – kids and adults alike love these chairs! They can be used in dorms, bedrooms, family rooms, living rooms, bonus rooms and even as a cool conversation piece in an office.
With the Christmas season right around the corner, they also make a unique gift for anyone on your list and the price is reasonable at $150. Right now they are offering FREE shipping to Canada or the U.S.!
As their website says: “Modern life is a whirlwind of crazy schedules, work, sports, school projects, and meetings. Amid all that chaos, take some time to chill on one of The Boss’ beanbags. You won’t regret it.”
