Hi mommas and babies! My name is Harmony, and I’m so very excited to be the Director of Mommy Connections St. Albert.
In January 2012, my husband and I welcomed our beautiful son into the world. Becoming a new parent has been an awesome, fun, and overwhelming experience. It’s the most rewarding and challenging journey we’ve ever been on.
One of the most important things I have done since becoming pregnant and giving birth has been connecting with other moms. Having a group of moms to listen to my concerns as well as share in the excitement of milestones our babies have reached is something I deeply value. My son was just a few months old when we took part in Mommy Connections. It was a wonderful opportunity to get out of the house, learn about great activities, and meet new friends. Since taking part in the 8 week Mom & Baby program, we’ve signed up for a variety of activities we were introduced to and still meet up with a group of moms and their babies on a weekly basis. From swimming to music to dance classes – it is so much fun watching our children learn and grow together!
Before becoming a mom, I worked full-time as an ESL Teacher Consultant for the Edmonton Public School Board. Before and after my work day and on weekends, I kept busy teaching Zumba and yoga. I have a passion for meeting new people, and sharing activities, products and experiences I love.
