Tips, Tricks and Hacks for Snacks (Part 1)

I think as moms we are all looking for that quick, easy, healthy, and affordable snack options for our children. I know that there are times I go to the store and purchase the convenient foods because well, they are convenient and the kids will eat them. Today I am going to share with you a few hacks and easy recipes that are now always handy and available in my house.

The first one I will share with you is a healthy dessert option. We love dessert in this house but let’s face it, we don’t want our kids eating it every night. So here is an easy and healthy alternative to dessert.

BAKED PEACHES

Peaches

Cinnamon

Brown sugar

Butter

Cut the peaches in half. Make sure the peaches aren’t too ripe or they just squish when you try and get the pit out of the middle. (Lesson learned the hard way!!)

Place them on a baking sheet and put a dab of butter (use real butter. It’s way better.) Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on the top.

Place in the oven at 350 degrees and bake for 10-20 minutes depending on the ripeness of your peaches. They should easily be pierced with a fork when they are done.

That’s it!!! Serve just like that. You can add whipped cream or ice cream if you want but they don’t need it at all!! They are super delicious!
