Kelowna, BC – Ally Kothari
Aug 16 2017 /
I’m Ally, and I was born and raised in Kelowna. I currently call Edmonton home, but love coming back to Kelowna with my troops in tow to experience all the greatness Kelowna has to offer families! My parents and extended family all still live in Kelowna, and we return many times a year to visit.
I have a 6 year old girl and 4 year old boy, an amazing husband and big, goofy dog.
I currently run a chapter of Mommy Connections in West Edmonton.
I met my mom tribe when I took my first Mommy Connections program 6 years ago, and they have been there for anything and everything, from sleep advice, starting solids, to much needed moms nights out! I remember looking forward to my session each week, because I just knew I could go and be heard, and listen and share stories (good and bad!) I still see some of those moms today, and we get together for birthdays, BBQs and wine nights.
I believe so strongly that moms need the opportunity to get out of the house with their little(s) and find their own tribe. Having that support, plus learning about services, classes and programs available in their communities is what makes a Mommy Connections group so fabulous. Moms get to connect and learn with a group of like-minded moms in a safe and comfortable environment.
I am so excited for our programs to reach families in the Okanagan. I look forward to meeting some of you face-to-face at community events in and around Kelowna, and always welcome you to get in touch with any questions/comments/ideas. I love to collaborate and partner with local businesses and organizations!
