Recipe: Kale Chips

Hands down, this is my favorite snack, and it’s a healthy one to boot!

Start with 1 head of Kale.  Kale can be found at pretty much any grocery store.

Once you rinse and dry the kale, tear off pieces and place into a mixing bowl.  Drizzle with some olive oil (about 2 TBS), or a flavor infused oil of choice.  I used half olive oil and half truffle oil on this batch.

Place on a foil covered baking sheet and sprinkle with Sea Salt. Bake for 8 minutes at 350.  Take out of the oven, toss kale, and return to oven for another 8 minutes.

Chips should be crispy and crunchy when done. Voila!

Flavor variations:

Sea Salt & Vinegar – use oil & vinegar, then sprinkle with Sea Salt

Sea Salt & Lime – use oil & Lime Juice, then sprinkle with Sea Salt

Parmesan -sprinkle chips with Parmesan Cheese before placing in oven

Cheesy – sprinkle with Nutritional Yeast before placing in oven
