The long weekend is approaching fast already. Like seriously, where has the time gone? The warm weather has been so nice that it makes the days fly by for me. For as long as I can remember, this long weekend has been always been the first to be excited about. First as a child, because you got an extra long weekend away from school, and then as you got older it was an excuse to head up and go swimming (even though the water was sometimes still too cold). Now, I enjoy spending the long weekend with friends and families, doing various activities close to home.
Fireworks have always been an activity that I love to watch. I love the colours in the sky, the patterns, and the crowds that come to watch them. Luckily for me, I was able to find a location where fireworks were happening this weekend. If interested, head on up to the Fanshawe Conservation Area on Monday, May 21. The show starts at dusk, and admission is $20 per car.
Now I understand that fireworks may not be an ideal thing for all, so below I have posted a website that has various events occurring over the course of the weekend. They range from exploring the market to heading to the museums, to watching a few plays. Honestly, I might be checking out the musicals this weekend. They’re playing Junie B. Jones, and I loved those books growing up. Might entertain some people by bringing them along!
So, that’s it for now and please make sure to check out the website below for more tidbits on what’s happening where this weekend. Have a great long weekend and enjoy the weather, I hear that it’s going to be nice!
