Becoming a mother has been such a blessing, and I am forever amazed at how wonderful life truly is. Sharing in new experiences with my daughters, and watching them grow as they explore and figure out the world around them, is truly the greatest gift.
I love Mommy Connections helps us create a strong sense of community, and provides a platform for learning about our little ones, while reinforcing the importance of staying active, engaging socially. While we can often let ourselves get lost in the shuffle as new mothers, it is my passion to make postnatal care for mothers a priority, and remind everyone that we truly are not alone on this journey called parenthood.
Rebecca has been a huge part Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto, right from the start. She was the first facilitator we ever had run a Mom & Baby class, and she eventually started coordinating & facilitating for our Travelling Tots classes, as her daughter grew.
She continues to bring energy and enthusiasm to all of her classes, and has been leading Mom & Baby and Mini Movers classes again with her sweet little baby boy!
We are very excited to have Rebecca on board as the co-ordinator for our Mom & Baby, Mini Movers, and Travelling Tots programs, as she knows Midtown Toronto mom life inside and out!
Olivia has been with Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto since her first daughter was just a few months old, and has participated and facilitated for many Mom & Baby, Mini Movers and Travelling Tots programs over the past four years
As a natural social butterfly, this mama of two brings excitement to all of the groups she facilitates, and is the perfect fit for coordinating fun social events for our mamas in Midtown Toronto.
Nathalie is another amazing mother of 2, and Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto alumni! She is the official photographer for our Mommy & Me programs, and co-hosts our MIT (Mom In Training!) prenatal workshops.
Nathalie is a photographer with a passion for delivering images that capture emotions and tell a story, with an intimate, contemporary and fresh feel. She focuses on working with people and families of all ages, from bump to baby and beyond. She is the owner founder of Pictonat Photography, and shoots both in-studio, and on location.
Gio is a Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto alumni, and co-host of our MIT (Mom In Training!) prenatal workshop. She is a mother, certified birth and postpartum doula & birth photographer. She is a true gem and the owner of Mindful Mommy Doula, who helps new parents prepare for birth, and figure out life at home with their new baby.
Working as a doula and birth photographer is both challenging and incredibly rewarding for her. She is able to witness such beautiful emotions and moments with her camera, that families love to cherish and remember. When she is not at a birth, she spends her days with her husband and daughter, reading, playing and exploring our amazing city!
Alyssa is a first time mom to her adorable 2yr old toddler, as well as a fur mama to her 8yr old pup. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher, specializing in Special Education. During her free time, she loves to read, hike, travel and binge watch guilty pleasure reality shows, but her greatest adventure has been watching her daughter grow and develop.
Alyssa started as a class participant when her daughter was just 2mo old, before becoming a facilitator for many Mom & Baby, Mini Movers, and now Travelling Tots classes!
Carolyn first joined mommy connections this summer with her preschooler – and loved meeting other mamas. She comes from a family of all boys (thank God for the female cat) – including teen stepsons, a preschooler and a baby.
When not driving, cooking, scheduling, cleaning — and recovering, Carolyn is a journalist – and drinks her coffee hot.
Chen is a mama to a spirited 4yr old daughter, and an adorable baby boy. Chen attended Mom & Baby classes with her daughter when she was just a few months old, and will be facilitating our Mom & Baby Wednesday class with her son this Fall.
When she’s not on mom duty, she enjoys travelling, social time connecting with other adults, and a good glass of wine
