Meet The Program Director
Hi, my name is Catherine, and I am very excited to be the program director for Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto.
Becoming a mother has been such a blessing, and I am forever amazed at how wonderful life truly is. Sharing in new experiences with my daughters, and watching them grow as they explore and figure out the world around them, is truly the greatest gift.
I love how Mommy Connections helps us create a strong sense of community, and provides a platform for learning about our little ones, while reinforcing the importance of staying active, engaging socially. While we can often let ourselves get lost in the shuffle as new mothers, it is my passion to make postnatal care for mothers a priority, and remind everyone that we truly are not alone on this journey called parenthood.
Meet The Program Co-Ordinator / Facilitator
Rebecca has been a huge part Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto, right from the start. She was the first facilitator we ever had run a Mom & Baby class, and she eventually started coordinating & facilitating for our Travelling Tots classes, as her daughter grew.
She continues to bring energy and enthusiasm to all of her classes, and has been leading Mom & Baby class again with her sweet little baby boy!
We are very excited to have Rebecca on board as the co-ordinator for our Mom & Baby, Mini Movers, and Travelling Tots programs, as she knows Midtown Toronto mom life inside and out!
Meet The Social Events Coordinator / Facilitator
Olivia has been with Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto since her first daughter was just a few months old, and has participated and facilitated for many Mom & Baby, Mini Movers and Travelling Tots programs over the past four years.
As a natural social butterfly, this mama of two brings excitement to all of the groups she facilitates, and is the perfect fit for coordinating fun social events for our mamas in Midtown Toronto.
Meet The Photographer / Events Coordinator
Nathalie is another amazing mother of 2, and Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto alumni! She is the official photographer for our Mommy & Me programs, and co-hosts our MIT (Mom In Training!) prenatal workshops.
Nathalie is a photographer with a passion for delivering images that capture emotions and tell a story, with an intimate, contemporary and fresh feel. She focuses on working with people and families of all ages, from bump to baby and beyond. She is the owner founder of Pictonat Photography shoots both in-studio, and on location.
Meet The Events Coordinator
Gio is a Mommy Connections Midtown Toronto alumni, and co-host of our MIT (Mom In Training!) prenatal workshop. She is a mother, certified birth and postpartum doula & birth photographer. She is a true gem and the owner of Mindful Mommy Doula, who helps new parents prepare for birth, and figure out life at home with their new baby.
Working as a doula and birth photographer is both challenging and incredibly rewarding for her. She is able to witness such beautiful emotions and moments with her camera, that families love to cherish and remember. When she is not at a birth, she spends her days with her husband and daughter, reading, playing and exploring our amazing city!
Meet The Facilitator / Midtown Toronto Mommy Blogger
Melissa had joined Mommy Connections Mom & Baby and was invited to return and facilitate the following class. As her daughter grows, she is excited to now be facilitating a Mini Movers program. She joined this amazing community after becoming a first time Mom in Summer of 2018 and is now thrilled to be participating as both facilitator and contributing blogger.
Melissa studied English and Psychology in university and has now been working in the IT World for 10+ years. She is excited to be tapping back into her creative side through the blog and loves meeting and sharing experiences and stories with the new Mamas in the classes.
Meet The Facilitator
Kelly is a Mommy Connections Midtown Alumni and is excited to return to the program as a facilitator. She is a new mother who is enjoying the adventures of parenting and all the excitement it brings.
Kelly has a passion for education, and has spent years as a teacher in French Immersion, Early Learning, as well as Special Education in both the private and public sector. She currently works as a French Immersion teacher in the early grades, and she is happy to discuss education with other moms. She is an avid animal lover who fosters rescue dogs and volunteers for TEAM Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to providing a safe haven for dogs while they wait for their “furever” homes.
