Review: Boiron Coryzalia

It’s that time of year where runny noses and congestion are unfortunately the norm! As a new, first time mom it’s been nerve-wracking to figure out the many changes my son has been going through. Over the holidays, we were visiting with so many friends and family and inevitably, we both caught colds once the chaos had died down.

Whenever possible I try to treat a cold naturally – with as little medicine as possible. For me this means drinking a lot of tea with honey and lemon, plus keeping a humidifier running. But for my baby I was at a loss until I discovered Coryzalia Homeopathic Medicine by Boiron.

Geared towards kids 1 month to 11 years old it contains no sugar, dye or preservatives and comes in sterile drinkable single doses. It’s used for nasal congestion, runny noses and sneezing – which is exactly the symptoms my baby was showing!

As with anything new I introduce to my little one, I started with one dose early in the day so I could monitor for any allergic reactions. Thankfully he took to it well and I continued with the recommended dose of 3 times per day. He seemed to really like the taste of it and didn’t put up a fight – which is a bonus for any mom! I also loved that the Coryzalia was portable – I just stuck a few in the diaper bag when we were on the go and I didn’t have to worry about missing a dose.

Within a week all his cold symptoms were gone and we were good as new again!

I’ve been told that babies develop numerous colds within their first years so I’ll be sure to have plenty of Coryzalia on hand and ready when needed!
