Hi, I’m Bob (Roberta), single mom to a very busy preschooler!

I was fortunate enough to attend one of the last postnatal programs for new parents and babies in Saskatoon and it was a lifeline! So, when I heard the Health Region had cut it, my heart went out to all the new moms and babies who wouldn’t have the same opportunity.

I am a natural net worker. If I hear of something that I feel will be of use to someone else, I am compelled to pass it on! And in the parenting world I feel this is crucial. I know I am indebted to those who shared some potentially insignificant little tidbit that turned out to be invaluable to me.

I work part time in a childcare center (in the infant room of course!). I am originally from the UK and trained as an Occupational Therapist. I am so excited to be able to bring Mommy Connections to Saskatoon and area. New parents need each other and I look forward to facilitating some amazing connections. And not just ‘mommy’ connections. I’d love to meet some Dads and other care providers too!
